Harmonia wins Seaport-e Contract

Blacksburg, VA March 31, 2008 - Harmonia Federal Services the Tibbetts Award‐winning provider of ground‐breaking software development tools and services, announced today it has been awarded a Seaport‐e contract as a prime contractor. Harmonia is increasing its market presence in the Department of Defense and plans to offer its services to the Navy and Marine Corps under this versatile contract vehicle. Harmonia Federal Services provides IT support, software development, database development including SQL Server and Oracle, IP telephony solutions, network design, network security and program management services to a wide variety of Federal government clients. Harmonia also has proprietary tools for converting legacy code such as ADA to modern code such as Java.

The U.S. Navy is awarding the indefinite‐delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts to provide for competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, Defense Threat Reduction Agency and the United States Marine Corps.

A woman-owned small business with offices in McLean and Blacksburg, Virginia, and Salt Lake City, Utah, Harmonia has created a suite of cradle-to-grave software process improvement tools that dovetail with popular products from IBM, Microsoft, and others. Harmonia’s clients include the Naval Air Systems Command, Northrop‐Grumman, Raytheon, Department of Energy, and SAIC.
